The cold plunge is considered a plumbing fixture and must be directly or indirectly connected to the potable water supply system. Also, it should either be directly connected to the sanitary drainage system or to grey water. Please revise the plans accordingly. Reference: Section 301.3 and 301.4, IPC 2018. 2. Previous comment not fully addressed [Provide details showing how the floor of the shower is to be constructed in accordance with the requirements of 421.5, IPC 2018.] a. The plans only indicate mosaic tile for the shower floor. Per IPC Section 421.5, shower floors must be constructed with a watertight, impervious liner or membrane beneath the tile, properly sloped to the drain and installed per code. Please provide details of the shower pan waterproofing system, including type of liner or membrane, and connection to the drain. Reference: Section 421.5, IPC 2018. 3. Please provide details on how the chiller is interconnected with the cold plunge as well as the manufacturers specs for the cold plunge. Additionally, indicate the type of refrigerant used by the chiller. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 4. Please also provide the manufacturers specs for the sauna.
