Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please note the submittal was incomplete and the plan review was conducted using the information presented. The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed. 1. Please provide permit number for Reference to Approved Shell Plans. For 1st Tenant Improvement, shell permit number shall be referenced in plan set. Per Commercial Submittal Requirements. https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/pdsd/documents/checklists/commercial_submittal_requirements_july2023.pdf 2. Please amend the plans to update the number of occupants as the occupant load of 50 does not appear to reflect the actual occupant load of this building space. IBC 1004.1 For example the waiting area is around 900sf and would have about 70 occupants according to the furniture plan on sheet E4. 3. Please amend the waiting lobby exiting plan as two exits are required for this space as more than 49 occupants are in this space. IBC Table 1006.2.1 Keep in mind that exits and exit access components are separated by 1/3rd the distance of the space. IBC 1007.1 4. Please amend the plans to provide an egress plan/life safety plan using the same scale as the floor plan. IBC 107.2.3 and showing the following information. A. The exit access travel distance is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1017.2 B. The exit access travel distance is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1017.2 For example, it appears in some areas/rooms, the exit signs are not visible when leaving the room. C.
