1. Metal Building slab/footing design and calculations and construction drawings prepared by an Arizona licensed registrant must be submitted prior to the approval of this permit. IBC 107.2.1
2. Please amend the plan to show spaces with one exit or exit doorway are allowed 100 feet of egress travel for s occupancies with 30 or less occupants and adjust egress plan to show a reticular exit access egress path. IBC table 1006.2.1 and IBC 1017.3

Electrical Review:

Plans shall include (as necessary for scope of work), but may not be limited to items below:
1. Provide an electrical demo plan for any demo’ed electrical or appliances.
2. Provide an electrical line diagram showing how power gets from the Utility source, through the meter and to the 100A Sub Distribution Panel. Include ratings, sizes and types of each device, component or conductor in the line diagram.
3. Provide electrical load calculations, for the Main Panels, Per NEC 220.40, demonstrating the existing electrical system can support the additional load.
4. Provide Fault Current Analysis and show new equipment AIC rating sufficient to withstand the calculated Fault Current. Provide Available Fault Current calculations from TEP transformers to all new equipment, 2017 NEC 110.24.
5. Show new Panel’s and other new equipment with AIC ratings greater than or equal to the Available Fault Currents calculated, 2017 NEC 110.10.
6. Show all wiring methods in detail for all new or modified branch circuit conductors and feeders. Conductor type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts;300 and 408.4.
7. Show all GFCI protection (NEC 210.8(B)) in readily accessible location per NEC 210.8.
8. Provide complete compliance with the 2018 IECC for the interior lighting, including sensors and lighting controls as required. (typically COMcheck).

Additional comments may be forthcoming with complete electrical plans for the building and site.

1. The airflow direction arrows shown near the outdoor air wall caps are incorrectly oriented. Please revise to show the correct airflow direction. Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018
2. The occupant load is not indicated in the outdoor air ventilation schedule. Please include the occupant load of 8 and revise the required outdoor air calculations accordingly. Section 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018.
3. The heat pump split system schedule lists the minimum outdoor air CFM as N/A. Please specify the required minimum outdoor air CFM.
4. Outdoor air wall caps are not shown on the elevation views (Sheet A1). Please add the wall caps to the elevations. Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018
5. Please clarify whether the existing roof-mounted turbine vents are intended to remain.
6. Please confirm that the proposed 7-inch diameter outdoor air duct is sized to provide the required outdoor air volume.

a. The replacement, relocation and installation of new lighting fixtures requires compliance with the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code.
b. Provide an outdoor site lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan.
This will require all exterior lights to be shown on the site exterior lighting plan, including site and parking lot lights. >>> Note, Lighting Fixtures in the Outdoor Garden Center must be included in the Outdoor Lighting calculations and compliance.
c. List the Lighting Area per OLC (typically E3) chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1.
d. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation.
e. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4.
f. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1.
g. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the outdoor lighting fixtures. Include the lumen and color temperature values for each outdoor fixture type.
h. Indicate whether or not a special inspection is required per sec. 104.2.2, and 106.2.

Site Engineering Comments:
1. As this site was determined to experience regulatory flows during a 100-year storm event, a floodplain use (FPU) permit with elevation certificate will be required to be started prior to the approval for commercial permit TC-COM-1225-02214. It is understood that a FPU permit was submitted, and that was intended to cover the scope of site work in relation to the associated development package TD-DEV-0825-00221.
2. The FPU permit is a separate permit that can be submitted for within the sub-records of this commercial building permit on TDC online.
3. For the submission, provide all construction documents similar to what was provide within this commercial permit submission
