Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. The #8 Cu conductor to the new HVAC unit is undersized for the given 60A OCPD, NEC 240.4. 2. Provide a Service and service entrance equipment rated greater than the calculated load, NEC 408.30. The given load calculations exceed the rating of the service entrance bus.
