Otherwise, accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. 1. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. (A) Alterations made to provide an accessible path of travel to the altered area will be deemed disproportionate to the overall alteration when the cost exceeds 20% of the cost of the alteration to the primary function area. On sheets P-101 the “new” line is labeled as 2” and on P-202, it is labeled as 2-1/2” CW. |
