Please amend the occupant load as the occupant load factor for Mercantile is 60square feet per person in the mercantile areas. IBC Table 1004.5 2. Please amend the plans to provide details of the new wall assemblies including the connections to the floor and ceiling, material used for framing, and interior surface covering. IBC 107.2.1 3. IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. Otherwise, accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. 1. For example, the existing rest room does not have the required 5’ clearance from the wall to the lavatory. If the lavatory was moved a bit the clearance would be more compliant with 2009 ICC A117.1 604. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. (A) Alterations made to provide an accessible path of travel to the altered area will be deemed disproportionate to the overall alteration when the cost exceeds 20% of the cost of the alteration to the primary function area. (B) Costs that may be counted as expenditures required to provide an accessible path of travel may include: For example, costs associated with making restrooms accessible, such as installing grab bars, enlarging toilet stalls, insulating pipes, or installing accessible faucet controls. Provide a complete electrical plan-set showing all proposed electrical work. 2. Should include but not be limited to: a. Provide a complete line diagram, NEC 110.2, 2018 IBC 107.1. b. Provide electrical load calculations, for the Main Service Panel, Per NEC 220.40. c. Show the location of the panel on the Electrical Plan with clear working space compliance, 2017 NEC 110.26(A). d. Provide a panel schedule showing the circuits that are being modified and added. e. Designate the circuit number, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each new or modified light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. f.
