Updates may result in additional comments. 2. SHEET D1.0 - The Architectural Demolition Plan, Sheet D1.0, calls out two existing columns to be removed. The plan note states that the removal shall be "Coordinated with Structural". Refer to Gridlines A-C/9-10 on Sheet D1.0. Reviewer was unable to find any information on these columns in the structural construction documents. Please confirm the overall scope of work and determine if any additional structural evaluation is required prior to removing these columns. Written confirmation in the form of a Revision Narrative is required to resolve this comment. 3. SHEET S1.1 - CONFLICTING INFORMATION: The Roof Framing Plan Note #6 on Sheet S1.1 appears to give design information that conflicts with Detail 2/S2.0. Please confirm the maximum overall size of new openings in the existing CMU wall (20"x20" or 24"x24") and the minimum required lintel size (L4x4x1/4 per Sheet S1.1 or L6x6x3/8 per Sheet S2.0). Detail 2/S2.0 should be modified to indicate the minimum length of the proposed lintel, as the lintel is shown extending beyond the opening by an unlabeled amount. Show hallway width: how ADA access into manager’s office 104 which indicates 60” diameter maneuvering clearance. |
