COMMENTS:
1. The purpose of this building permit is to record what the structure consists of allowing a certificate of occupancy to be issued.
2. Thank You for submitting the Site Plan and Building(s) Floor Plans.
3. NOTE: We could not find a recent building permit within the City system reflecting the new space configuration shown on your current submitted drawings.
4. Our historical records shows that each structure have always been treated as having separate building permits.
5. Please submit a separate permit application for the Warehouse Building (Bldg. B). On the Architectural Plan, please add the location of the electrical receptacles, lights, Electrical Panel, A/C diffusers, A/C return air, HVAC unit locations to record/memorialize their locations & will make it easier for our building inspectors to approve the inspection (NOTE: inspections will be required in order to issue the C of O).
a. The historical drawings show a grease trap. Please locate this on the floor plan (if it has been removed, use dash line representing the grease trap and label it a has been removed/demolished).
b. Exhaust Hood is also showing on the historical drawings. Please locate this on the floor plan (if it has been removed, use dash line representing the exhaust hood and label it a has been removed/demolished).
6. We will continue using the current set of drawings for the Office Building (Bldg. A) with building B crossed out. On the Architectural Plan, please add the location of the electrical receptacles, lights, Electrical Panel, A/C diffusers, A/C return air, HVAC unit locations to record/memorialize their locations & will make it easier for our building inspectors to approve the inspection (NOTE: inspections will be required in order to issue the C of O).
a. The historical drawings show offices where the waiting and front office now occupy on the new floor plan. Please show these historical offices as dashed line and label as demolished.
b. Label all new walls as new.
7. You should have access to the marked-up drawings. In it I pasted the historical plans to compare with the new plans. Please take a look, it may shine a light into your approach for these submittal.

The uses of this commercial construction project are classified as “trade service and repair, major” and “commercial storage”. These uses are permitted in an I-1 zone.

1. (Comment) See Commercial Building comments from Justino Eder.

2. (Comment) If the purpose of this permit is to obtain updated certificates of occupancy for the two structures on the property, submit separate permits for each structure.

3. (Comment) The submitted documents appear to include captures of historic site plan and floor plan submissions. Remove these from future submissions or indicate if they are meant to serve as a current, updated site plan or floor plan.

4. (Comment) Confirm the zoning code use for each building. The proper zoning code use for a funeral home is “Commercial Services Use Group – Funeral Service”. The zoning code use is separate from the building code use.

RESUBMITTAL OF THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED:
