One accessible for standing persons and one accessible for persons confined to a wheelchair. Not able to find specs on Model #HS-STC5 1 2WH drinking fountain. a. For the business occupancy, water coolers can be substituted for drinking fountains per IBC 2902.1 and IPC 410.1 Otherwise, drinking fountain shall be accessible per ICC A117.1 section 602 with required clear floor space and knee/toe clearance per section 306, 36 inches spout outlet height (30 inches for children), 38 inches minimum / 43 inches maximum for person standing (30 inches minimum / 43 inches maximum for children). 2. Provide tempered water for the lavatories and public hand-washing sinks in restrooms using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018 a. Mechanical mixing valve (Model # SLS-7000-DP4) does not appear to conform to ASSE 1070. Please clarify that the MAXLINE thermostatic mixing valve or equivalent will be used with the Symmons faucet. |
