Additionally , please indicate what will be served at this business as there are menu references on the plans but no kitchen, or food prep area indicated on the plans.

3. Please amend plans to provide an existing/demolition plan to include any slab demolition to allow for underground plumbing. IBC 107.2.1 Additionally, provide a ceiling existing/demolition plan if the ceiling was demoed.

4. Please amend plans to update all code references as marked up on the drawings IBC 107.2

5. Please amend plans to identify all walls and provide a wall legend for each wall type. For example, demolished, new, existing, bearing/nonbearing walls.

6. Please provide an egress plan to include

a. Please amend plans, so the paths of egress are shown IBC 107.2.3

b. Please amend plans to show the exit access travel distance is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1017.2

c. Please amend plans to show the common path of egress travel is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1006.2.1

d. Please amend plans to show two paths of egress are provided from spaces and stories that require it. IBC 1006.2.1, 1006.3

10.Please amend plans to ensure interior floor finishes are specifically identified. IBC 804.1

Only the main door uses the key lock option with the correct sign. No thumb turns. IBC 1010.1.9.4 For example, A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background.

11. Please amend plans to show glazing in hazardous locations is identified as safety glazing. IBC 2406

12. Please amend plans to show at least 5 percent of the seating and standing spaces, but not less than one, shall be accessible for each type provided and show the locations of accessible seating, tables, counters on the plans. IBC 1109.11, 1109.12.3

13. Provide an architectural site plan. Site accessibility provisions of IEBC Section 305.7 requires an accessible route to the primary entry of the building and toilet facility serving customers. Please demonstrate code compliance within the drawing set in the next submittal.

14. Provide adequate notes or details on the plans to show that the primary entry door is accessible in accordance with IEBC Section 305.8.1. For example, door hardware operating, mounting height, etc.
