Please amend plans to indicate the automatic doors comply with ANSI/BHMA A156 3. Further, please demonstrate on the plans the automatic doors comply with 2009 ICC A117.1 Section 404.3 Doorways shall have a clear opening width of 32 inches in power-on and power-off mode. The minimum clear opening width for automatic door systems shall be based on the clear opening width provided with all leafs in the open position. If provided, thresholds at doorways shall be ½” maximum height and comply with 2009 ICC A117.1 Sections 302 & 303 4. Please amend plans to indicate the concrete strength (PSI) to be used with the column supports in detail 04/A5.2 5. Please amend plans to clarify if 3,000 PSI or 5,000 PSI concrete is to be used with detail 02/A5.2 6. Please provide engineering to show how unbraced interior walls and partitions that exceed 6 feet in height, including their finish materials, shall have adequate strength and stiffness to resist the loads to which they are subjected but not less than a horizontal load of 5 psf. IBC 1607.15. 7. Please provide a statement of special inspections on cover page. IBC 1704.3 for example field welding at top of columns, and 3,000 psi or 5,000 psi concrete.
