At first we were not as clear as to the the existing configuration and conditions of this project. We thank you for providing additional information allowing us to have a clearer picture of the project at hand. 1. Thank you for indicating that suite 315 has 11 occ and suite 311 has 6 occ as shown on the floor plan. Please complete your code analysis itself, confirm the Corridor Fire-Resistance Rating as well as include the actual calculation of the occupant load. 2. We hear your statement, "No electrical, mechanical or plumbing on this project". Please submit the existing drawings for Mechanical, Electrical that clearly demonstrate definite separation, etc.(if HVAC system is centralized and provided to all tenants by the landlord, please state so). 3. We see that you show electrical panel in each suite. Is the panel within the new suite number 311 a new electrical panel? (or submit the existing drawings that illustrate the separation of the power plan/lighting plan, etc. for the tenants) 4. Please add a statement in your code analysis regarding Fire Sprinkler & Fire Alarm of their existence or non-existence. These are a couple of the information that we have to enter into our system as part of the permit information. 5. To be code compliant with proper fire rating, gyp bd must be installed on both sides as called for in the assembly U340 and IBC 402.4.2.1 Fire Partition Tenant separations. 6. Please confirm that the underside of the floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly have a fire-resistance rating that is not less than the fire-resistance rating of the fire partition per 708.4 Continuity. 7. Please resubmit. |
