NEC 110.3 Provide the correct overcurrent protection for the feeder conductors to the 200 amp panel disconnect switches if tap rules do not apply. For example, what if the 200 amp disconnect for the existing panel ‘A’ is omitted per the note in the line diagram? Verify that the existing secondary conduit size is sufficient for the new service secondary conductors. Secondary- 350 KCMIL Cu conductors are rated at 310 amps per table 310.15(B)(16), 75 Deg. Verify through service load calculations that conductors this size will safely carry the total load current for the phase conductors and verify for the reduced sized Grounded (neutral) conductor.
