1. The engineer professional stamp on the structural sheets indicates that William Hill is a Civil not a structural engineer. Provide a stamp and seal from a structural engineer on the structural drawings and include the seals expiration date.
2. Provide a detail for how the new east side canopy will be attached to the structure on the drawings. The architectural plans indicate a 4” c-channel with 1/2” anchor bolts per structural. Note: There appears to be an existing window above door 108 that may interfere with the attachment.
3. Provide calculations for the East Elevation Canopy where there is a 5’ and a 7’ cantilever off each end, on the calculations for the main canopy could be found on the attached documents.

1. Update the project description on the cover sheet to include the work on the east side of the structure (only the north side work is listed) as well as the installation of the new storefront windows.
2. Verify the overall valuation of work for this project, the application indicates 200,000.00. this should include all work to be covered by this submittal.
3. Clarify the general notes listed on all sheets and verify they are applicable to this project. Note 10 is referencing a pool that does not appear to be indicated and note 9 is for interior work.
4. Verify the site conditions on the east side of the building on the plans, the site plans show angled parking and no sidewalk however the demo plan shows an existing straight sidewalk to remain. Indicate the other two existing roof scuppers on drawings and clarify if they are to be re routed or will remain surface discharge.
5. Indicate the existing electrical panels and other permanently installed structures on the east side of the building near door 109 on the plans.
6. Verify the new accessible route to and from the parking for door 107 on the drawings. It does not appear that door 107 will comply with the required clear space for a side approach or front approach. Provide additional dimensions for this door and the distance to the new column and sidewalk to verify compliance with ICC A117.1-2009 Figure 404.2.3.2.
7. Indicate on the drawing that the new sidewalk/ patio walking surface shall be stable firm and slip resistant and any changes in level shall comply with ICC A117.1-2009 Section 303.
8. Provide construction details for the removal and reframing of the rough opening for the existing window 109 that is to be enlarged vertically.
9. Clarify if the window above door 108 will be filled in and provide construction details for this work. Coordinate with the new canopy attachment.
10. Provide dimensions for the turn-downed/ thickened slab on the hardscape details on sheet A1.4 including the minimum width and depth requirements. Keynote 3 on this sheet indicates to coordinate with civil drawings however no civil were included in the set. Update the note.
11. Provide u values for windows that are in compliance with the 2018 IECC, the storefront notes on sheet A5.1 only indicate insulated glass panels with no values.
