Please provide a site plan on a cover sheet. b. Show the following; i. Parking stalls ii. Handicap stalls and their signages iii. Accessible striped routes iv. Bicycle racks v. Etc. 2. REFLECTED CEILING PLAN a. Submit a reflected ceiling plan. b. Tables and chairs layout have changed, the lighting layout will change accordingly. c. Interior layout have changed, location of a/c diffusers, return grill etc will change. d. Interior layout have changed, fire sprinkler location will change such as the area of the new type 1 hood. 3. SCHEDULES a. Provide interior finish schedule. b. Provide door schedule to confirm clear door openings complying to ICC A117.1 accessibility. 4. EGRESS PLAN a. Provide an Egress Plan. Show these information on the Egress Plan including cabinets, furnitures, tables and chairs, displays, equipments, etc. which will reveal the actual exit route. b. Enter the distance of travel within the facility and their direction of travel. c. At the point of exit, enter the required width, the provided width, the distance traveled and the number of occupants exiting. d. Please amend plans to show the current design occupant load analysis to specify the individual building area of each room or space that is shown on the plan. For the purpose of occupant load calculation, the actual use of the space shall be utilized. i. Further, enter the name of the space, area square footage, clarify the design occupant load (gross or net s.f. per person used) and the number of occupants for each room or space on the plan, in accordance with the requirements of IBC Table 1004. IBC 107.2.7 5. TYPE 1 HOOD a. Provide structural drawings/calculations on Hood(s) installation specially on how they are supported structurally. 6. FIRE SPRINKLER a. Within your Code Analysis, add the sentence: “Fire sprinkler layout adjustments, relocations will be a separate submission for review and approval to Tucson Fire Department”. 7. Dining & drinking areas, all interior & exterior floor areas shall be accessible & on accessible route per IBC 1109.2.9. a. Where dining surfaces for the consumption of food or drink are provided, at least 5 percent, but not less than one, of the dining surfaces for the seating and standing spaces shall be accessible and be distributed throughout the facility per IBC 1109.2.9.1. b. Locate and identify the designated chairs and counter on the floor plan. 8. Provide drawings illustrating the following. a. The tops of dining surfaces & work surfaces such as reception counter shall be 28 inches min & 34 inches max above the floor per ICC A117.1 sec 902.4. b. Sec 306.3.3 Knee clearance shall be 11 inches min in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches min in depth at 27 inches above the floor. c. Sec 306.2.4 Additional toe clearance space extending greater than 6 inches beyond the available knee clearance at 9 inches above the floor. d. Sec 306.3 Knee clearance shall be 30 inches min in width. e. 904.3.2 Parallel approach, the counter surface 36 inches min length. f. 904.3.3 Forward approach, the counter surface 30 inches min length. 9. Restrooms a. Lavatory shall be maximum 34 inches above floor to the higher of the rim or counter surface, faucets and soap dispenser shall have a reach depth of 11 inches per ANSI 606.5 b. Metered faucets shall be required and shall remain open for 10 seconds minimum per ANSI 606.4 c. Water supply and drain pipes under lavatories shall be insulated to protect against contact per ANSI 606.6 d. NOTE: IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided. The cost of providing or upgrading the items above are to be equal to 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades. May include: For example, costs associated with making restrooms accessible, such as installing grab bars, enlarging toilet stalls, insulating pipes, or installing accessible faucet controls, compliant heigh of lavatory, etc. 10. Provide calculations to show that the mechanical exhaust flow rates and the mechanical ventilating system for the building will maintain the building in an essentially neutral pressure. Reference: Section 501.4, IMC 2018. 2. The existing Type I hood now covers new appliances. Verify that the hood is listed in accordance with UL 710 and bears a label stating the minimum exhaust flow rate that provides for capture and containment of the effluents produced by the new appliances, based on the heaviest-duty appliance under the hood. Reference: Sections 507.2.1 and 507.5, IMC 2018. 3. Verify that the char broiler (Item # 16) does not utilize solid fuel (e.g. wood chips) that combusts with an open flame at any time. Reference: Sections 202 (Extra-heavy-duty cooking appliance) and 507.2.2, IMC 2018. 4. Verify the construction of the existing wall behind the char broiler and griddle (Items # 16 and 17). Wood studs covered by gypsum board and a sheet of stainless steel are considered combustible construction by the IMC). Reference: Section 507.2.6, IMC 2018. 5. Provide adequate make-up air for the existing exhaust hood. Reference: Section 508.1 IMC 2018. |

Verify that the revised building drain from the kitchen areas (e.g. the BBQ area and the sushi bar) will drain through the existing grease interceptor and that the existing water closets are not draining through the grease interceptor. Reference: Sections 1003.2 and 1003.3.1, IPC 2018. 2. Include the stock pot range (Item # 29) in the Natural Gas Riser Diagram (2/P-0).
