i. Material used. Should steel/metal is used, ensure welding notes are on the drawings.
ii. Ensure to include the structural posts carrying the gate and its drilled pier footing in its depth and diameter and the rebars used.
iii. The construction of the gate, provide drawings for this.
iv. Provide an elevation drawing of the gate as you stand in front of it, show us what it looks like and provide dimensions, height, width, etc.
2. Ensure to comply to Tucson Fire Department requirements on knox box, fire truck access, etc.
3. Please resubmit.

11/20/2025 Site Zoning REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. COMMENT: It is possible that although this is an exterior improvement, it may be permitted on a building permit with an improved site plan. Provide dimensions for all vehicle use areas, including the entry points, parking area access lanes, parking spaces and sidewalks/crosswalks adjacent to the fence/gates/operators.
2. COMMENT: A review of the plans indicates the the site may lose parking spaces due to the placement of the fence and/or equipment. Provide a parking calculations table indicating that the site retains the minimum amount of required parking. Label and indicate the parking spaces to be lost.
3. COMMENT: In cases where parking spaces may be immediately adjacent to the fence or to equipment, indicate the the space meets the 10' width requirement per UDC 7.4.6.D.2.b.
4. COMMENT: Provide width of the gate openings on the site plan.
5. COMMENT: Provide a general note indicating how the site will provide access to emergency and fire services when the gates are closed (i.e., KnoxBox).
6. COMMENT: Provide setback distance from gate/fence to the front street property line.
