Updates may result in additional comments. 2. GENERAL - GEOTECHNICAL REPORT: Please provide a copy of the site-specific geotechnical report referenced on the structural general notes, Sheet S4.0. The report should support the appropriateness of the selected foundation system for the project site. All building code references must be updated to the current code adopted by the City. 3. GENERAL - SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: The notes on Special Inspections included on Sheets S4.0 and SSD1 do not meet the requirements for a Statement of Special Inspections as outlined in the 2018 International Building Code Section 1704.3.1. A complete statement must include the following information. Please update the structural general notes accordingly, making sure to reference the correct edition of the code as part of the revision (2018 IBC). i. The materials, systems, components required to have special inspections - DONE ii. The type and extent of each special inspection as outlined in IBC Section 1705 iii. For each type of special inspection, identification as to whether it will be continuous or periodic as defined by the 2018 IBC 4. SHEET SD1 - MISSING INFORMATION, REFUSE ENCLOSURE: Information on the design of the foundation for the Refuse Enclosure appears incomplete. A plan note on Enlarged Plan 9/SD1 calls for the enclosure to be supported on a steel-reinforced concrete apron. Section Cut 4/SD1 shows the concrete slab and a continuous wall footing, but refers to "Structural" for the footing dimensions and information on reinforcement. Please confirm where this information has been provided. 5. SHEET SD2 - MISSING INFORMATION, PARKING SCREEN WALL: Civil Detail 6/SD2 shows a parking screen wall and refers to the structural drawings for information on the foundation and CMU reinforcement. Please confirm where this information has been provided. 6. SHEED SD4 - MISSING INFORMATION, SIGNAGE FOUNDATIONS: Civil Sheet SD4 includes foundation designs for multiple site structures and signage. However, the Order Canopy, which has the longest cantilevered element, does not have a foundation design included. Please indicate how this structure is being supported at grade. 7. SHEET S1.2 - KITCHEN HOODS: The Mechanical Sheets M1.2 and M4.1 indicate four proposed Kitchen Hoods, KH1 through KH4, to be suspended from roof framing. Weights of these units have not been included on the mechanical schedules. Please coordinate the location and operating weights of these units and include them on the Structural Roof Plan to confirm they have been included in design of the typical roof joists.
