Clarify the load (if any) attached to the existing 2” gas line with the new Ansul valve. Reference: Section 402.1, IFGC 2018. 5. Clarify which plumbing fixtures will be connected to the grease waste drainage system. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IPC 2018. 6. The double-bowl hand sink (28) shall be directly connected to the sanitary drainage system. If the sink will also be used for food preparation or dishwashing, it must be connected to the grease waste system. Reference: Sections 301.3 and 1003.3, IPC 2018. 7. Plumbing fixtures that receive or discharge liquid waste and are not required to be indirectly waster per Section 802.1, IPC 2018 (e.g. food-handling or dishwashing sinks), shall be directly connected to the sanitary drainage system. Reference: Section 301.3, IPC 2018. 8. Hand sinks (e.g. 26 and 27) in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, “HANDWASH SINK ONLY! NO FOOD PREPARATION OR DISHWASHING ALLOWED.” Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson. 9. Clarify the partial waste and vent isometrics (A/P6 and B/P6). They show an under-griddle refrigerator (15) and a 36” griddle (16) being directly connected to the drainage systems. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. |
