4. S201/S-251 - CONFIRM DESIGN, SHEAR WALL: Please confirm the extent of Shear Wall Type "G" on the plan-west exterior wall (Elevation 4/S-251). The hatching on plan and in elevation shows the shear walls extending to the northwest corner of the buiding, while the grade beam "GB2" and shear wall holddowns "HD-19" terminate at the side entrance to the building. If the shearwall is continuous, confirm if straps are required around the doorway and if the grade beam should be extended the full length of the wall.
