| 05/08/2025 | Commercial Mechanical | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | 1. The revised Air Balance Schedule now shows that the total suite will have 433 CFM of excess air. If only the exhausted air is being filtered through a charcoal filter, how will this allow for mitigation of the odor spread by the air exiting the suite when the doors open? [Initial comment: The balancing information shows that the Phase 2 area will have 294 CFM of air entering the suite with no exhaust. Combining phases 1 and 2, the total space will have 549 CFM of excess outside air. Provide a design that will ensure that the facility will comply with the odor mitigation requirements enforced by the Zoning Department. ] 2. The Outside Air Calculations calls for the IT room to receive outside air from RTU-4 but the plans show no connection between RTU-4 and the IT room. Show how the IT room will be ventilated. [Initial comment: How is the IT room being ventilated? Reference: Section 401.2, IMC 2018.] |
