All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. It does appear that the bathrooms are technically infeasible to alter to meet accessibility requirements. In this case, a family or assisted-use toilet room shall be located on the same floor and in the same area as the existing toilet rooms. [Ref. IEBC 2018 Sec. 305.8.10] {Joel is aware that there are specific floors located in this building that include accessible bathrooms. It may be more practical to use these existing accessible bathrooms to meet the section mentioned above with an appeal to the building official for approval.} STRUCTURAL COMMENTS There are no comments.
