1. GENERAL - UPDATES: For project updates, please submit sheets with all changes clearly marked in revision clouds. Please provide a written response to each comment; updates without a clear response to all comments may not be reviewed. If you have any questions regarding the comments, you may contact me directly. Updates may result in additional comments.

2. GENERAL - SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: Please have the Registered Design Professional in Responsible Charge of this project complete and return the City of Tucson Special Inspections Certificate with signatures. The form can be
downloaded at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/city-services/planning-developmentservices/documents/special_inspection_certificate.pdf

3. S1.1 - DESIGN LOADS: The design parameters listed under "Seismic" do not match the structural calculation package or the minimum spectral accelerations required by ASCE 7-16. Please revise the structural general notes and resubmit.

4. S1.2 - MISSING INFORMATION: In the structural general notes, under "Rough Carpentry and Sheathing, typical fasteners for wall sheathing are not defined. The notes refer to a "Shear Wall Schedule" for additional information. Please confirm where this information is located.

5. S3.1 - FLOOR DIAPHRAGM: The Floor Framing Plan on Sheet S3.1 indicates that the elevated floor slab shall be a structural composite slab with 3 1/2" of concrete over 1 1/2" metal deck. The concrete is said to be reinforced with fiber reinforcing, which is not typical of structural slabs in the City of Tucson. In order to qualify for an exception, please provide additional product information, and ESR report and structural calculations to confirm that slabs reinforced with fiber reinforcing are capable of spanning between beams. As an alternative, weld-wire fabric or conventional mild reinforcing is acceptable.

6. S5.1 - STAIR LANDING: In detail 209 on Sheet S5.1, please confirm the minimum thickness of concrete required for the stair landing over the 12 gage pan.

7. GENERAL - SLAB REPAIR: If trenching of the existing slab is required for placement of plumbing or electrical work, please provide a detail to repair the slab to existing conditions.

1. Sheet T1.0: The occupant load calculations for the dining room are not correct. There is fixed bench seating present as well as unfixed seating. The occupant load will still be less than 50 occupants, however, the provided occupant load is not correct. Provide a corrected occupant load calculation in accordance with 2018 IBC Sections 1004.6, 1004.5 and Table 1004.5.

E4.1 SINGLE-LINE DIAGRAM/CALCS:
Comments only.

Wire sized on Shour circuit calculation table (F3 and F4) is #10 vs one line and panel schedule call out for #12. Either size results in acceptable values.

Primary Circuit breaker and secondary Fuse protection for Buck-Boost step up xfmr could be upsized. Current design could result in nuisance trip.
