Please amend Chapter 10 summary, under Design Data, to read Suite-A in place of Suite-B [IBC 107.2] 2. Provide sealed calculations, design, drawings, and details to include member sizes and all connections for the opening infill. Include statement of special inspection(s) and evaluation report for fasteners, as required by design [IBC 107.2.7] 3. Please amend Floor Plan Keyed note #3 or otherwise indicate the method of showing on the plans that the newly sealed door meets the intent of IBC 1010.1. Means of egress doors shall be readily distinguishable from the adjacent construction and finishes such that the doors are easily recognizable as doors. For example, Please amend plans to add signage to both sides of the sealed metal door frame to clearly indicate Not an Exit [IBC 1010.1] 4. Please amend plans to indicate the method of supplying power to relocated emergency light and exit sign. Indicate conductor & equipment grounding conductor size and type, conduit size and type as well as the circuit and panel used to supply power. [IBC 107.2.1 & NEC 110.14] 5. Please amend plans to show Exit sign and Emergency Exit Light at the Exit door and along the new exit access path from new warehouse exit access door to the Retail space Exit door as required by 1013.1. For example, exit sign placement shall be such that any point in an exit access corridor or exit passageway is within 100 feet or the listed viewing distance of the sign, whichever is less, from the nearest visible exit sign. [IBC 1008 & 1013] 6. Please provide floor plan for the Hatched area of Suite-B to indicate the use of the space along the new exit access path from new warehouse exit access door to the Retail space Exit door [IBC 107.2.1] 7. Additionally, if the means of egress is continuing through a stockroom or break room; the requirements of [IBC 1016.2] must be met. Please address each item a. The stock is of the same hazard classification as that found in the main retail area. b. Not more than 50 percent of the exit access is through the stockroom. c. The stockroom is not subject to locking from the egress side. d. There is a demarcated, minimum 44-inch-wide (1118 mm) aisle defined by full- or partial- height fixed walls or similar construction that will maintain the required width and lead directly from the retail area to the exit without obstructions.
