04/12/2024 | Water - PDSD | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | 1. The civil plans have not been included with the building plan set. The development package is only good for grading and paving. The construction of site utilities (e.g. water service and building sewer) must be part of the building plan set. [Initial comment: Show the location and size of the proposed water meter, backflow preventer, and the water service pipe on a site plan. The development package is not a substitute for a complete site plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1 and 107.2.6, IBC 2018.] 2. Reduced pressure backflow prevention assemblies intended to protect the municipal water distribution system are required to be installed directly after the water meter for buildings that have food service facilities and are required to be installed in locations accessible to Tucson Water.
