Thrall (Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov) Date: 1/12/23 Per UDC 6.2.4.5.C and definition of established versus developing area, the awning at the south side of the site does not meet developing area setbacks. The awning can be removed from this specific package to permit the other awnings. Note - under present code, the awning will need a variance for reduced setbacks. However - code revision, if approved in March, would not require such a variance and the awning could proceed. Please resubmit the other two awnings, remove the south awning for now, and then keep in touch with Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov on code revision updates in March. Thank you |
