| 01/04/2024 | Signs | APPROVED | The following review comments have been provided from the Billboard Review Committee (BRC) for approval of the repair permit, subject to special inspections: Below are comments on the fourth authorized repair submittal (structural & electric) for COT ID# 439 at 2601 East Grant Road (TC-COM-1122-00169). Sheets 1-4 of 4 No comments. This application is conditionally approved, subject to the following condition: 1. A special inspection certificate shall be filled out and submitted to PDSD that indicated code compliant installation of the twelve (12) A325 bolts. The special inspector (or structural observer, as may be necessary) shall further confirm having been continuously present on site during: a) the removals of the south offset beam and the south supporting I-beam, b) the installation of the replacement south supporting I-beam, c) the attachment of the south offset I-beam to the replacement supporting I-beam, d) the disassembly and reassembly of the upper structure, and e) the reinstallation of the reassembled upper structure onto the two offset beams; the special inspector or structural observer shall also: 1) confirm that the finished depth of the replacement south supporting I-beam below grade matches the depth below grade of the existing south supporting I-beam upon removal and 2) confirm that the south offset beam and the two tapered uprights remained on site and were not replaced. The special inspection certificate(s) shall be submitted to PDSD for review and approval prior to final inspection approval. |
