The code analysis is incomplete. The code analysis only addresses the existing structure, which is being converted to a restaurant; so where is the information regarding the detached canopy? Size (square feet), construction type, allowable area, occupancy group, etc. all need to be communicated. 4. The code analysis indicates this as a Group B Occupancy, however with the combined area and occupancy of the existing building and detached dining canopy this is actually a Group A-2 Occupancy per 2018 IBC Sec. 303.1.1 and 303.1.2. Sheet A2.1 1. Please clarify on the plans that there is a vertical grab bar next to the existing ADA toilet in the existing restroom and that all other ADA requirements have been met.
