Sheet A1.1: This sheet indicates more than a business use it contains mix use. It includes a café (A-2) and a large training room (A-3). This has not been considered into the code analysis. Provide a complete and thorough code analysis in accordance with Section 1004.53. 2. Sheet A1.1: The occupant load calculations are incorrect. The first floor contains assembly spaces that have not been accounted for. A space by space occupant load calculation must be completed in accordance with Section 1004.3. Provide a complete occupant load calculation. Additionally, update the plumbing fixture calculations as necessary. 3. Sheet A1.1: The egress plans are incomplete. They do not contain the location of furniture, the travel paths from the most remote points and the distance of that travel path, etc. Provide a thorough and detailed egress plan in accordance with Chapter 10 of the IBC. 4. Sheet A1.1: The travel paths do not indicate the travel to an exit but to exit access. Travel distance must be measure to an exit in accordance with Section 1017. 5. Sheet A1.1: Provide clarification on the adjacent tenant on the first floor to ensure proper separation between tenants. 6. Sheet A1.1: Provide a detailed narrative as to the items being served and cooked in the café as additional requirement may be applicable. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: DENIED 1. Provide additional details regarding the cooking operations in the café as vent hoods may be required. ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS DENIED 1. Sheet E3.0: Additional exit lighting required in the assembly areas. Provide additional exit lighting in accordance with Section 1013. 2. Sheet E3.0: The additional egress illumination is required.
