STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS:

1. In the architectural drawing notes, it states that the exterior walls are to be stripped down to the stud and insulation level, this would trigger a lateral analysis based on wind/ seismic whichever controls the design and based on the analysis, shear panels would need to be provided and shown on the drawing. - Response: Only interior wall finishes and gypsum board is to be removed during demolition. Any plywood sheathing that serves in a structural/shear-resisting role will be preserved in place. Comment D2 on Sheet D101 has been revised to clarify that all plywood sheathing is to remain. Response acceptable, Item Closed
2. In the structural drawings for the roof framing, there is detail provided for strengthening of roof framing members but no supporting calculations are provided for the structural evaluation of existing roof framing for RTU loads and the required structural strengthening of roof members. Response: Structural calculations have been revised by Case Engineering. Updated calculations were not provided for review. Apparently the revised construction drawings got uploaded as Structural Calcs_V2. Review Item OPEN.
