Instructions:

1. Navigate into the current project in the “My Work” tab. Within the permit, navigate to the “Sub-Records” tab and click “Apply” on the Floodplain Use Permit Sub-Record

2. Locations -> Confirm the location is accurate to the project. Click “Next”

3. Type -> Fill in the “Square Feet” and “Valuation” boxes with the project area and a contractor-provided cost estimate (See note above: for new structures, input 0). Click “Next”

4. Contacts -> Confirm contacts and add any additional contacts if applicable. Click “Next”

5. More Info -> This will be filled in by the engineer assigned to your case, Click “Next”

6. Attachments -> Please attach the project plan, supporting documentation for the cost estimate (if applicable), and a drainage/hydrology report (if applicable). Click “Next”

7. Signature -> Read the statement and type your name. Sign your name below (You may Enable Type Signature to have the software sign for you.) Click “Next”

8. Review and Submit -> Review all information to ensure accuracy. Click “Submit”

COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.


1.COMMENT: As there are proposed changes to the site a Development Package meeting
the requirements of the checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Site
shall be submitted and approved prior to approval of this building permit. The checklist
can be found at:
https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/Minor_Changes_to_Commercial_Industrial_Sites_.pdf. The DP is a separate submittal from this building permit and is submitted at: https://tdc-online.tucsonaz.gov/#/ ,”. This DP shall clearly show where the wall will be placed on site.

2.COMMENT: The maximum height of a wall within a perimeter yard shall be six feet; however, the wall or fence may be higher than six feet, but no higher than ten feet, if: (See Figure 6.6.1-A, Height of Wall or Fence within a Side or Rear Perimeter Yard .)
1. At least 75% of the area above six feet in height is left unobstructed and open through the use of architectural elements, such as arches, columns, or wrought iron;
2. Part of, or located on top of, a retaining wall no higher than ten feet measured from design grade and no higher than six feet measured from the top of the retaining portion of the wall;
3. A greater height is required through the rezoning process or the special exception land use process; or,
4. A greater height is required by a specific UDC standard.
If you are unable to adhere to the maximum height a modification will be required.
A Board of Adjustment for Variance or A Design Development Option (DDO) will need to be processed and approved to increase the wall height is required.
