1. Provide an outdoor lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different outdoor light sources on your lighting plan, both new and existing. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan.
a. Update the Outdoor lighting Lumen calculations on sheet SE-1. Calculations table shall include whether each fixture is full-cutoff (OLC 104.2), or unshielded. Show which fixtures are installed under canopies or overhangs (OLC401.2.1(3) & (4)).
b. Verify the correct Developed Area is being used to calculate the 'Total Allowed Lumens'. The Developed Area used should include only the portion of the site that is being developed under this permit. Portions that are to be developed in the future should be excluded from the Developed Area used for this permits. This is to ensure that area to be developed under future permits doesn't have it's lumen allowance used up on the early developments.
2. List the Lighting Area per OLC (typically E3) chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1.
a. Show how the 'Total Allowed Lumens' was calculated. Provide the compliance option chosen from OLC Table 401.1. The total number appears incorrect per my review.
3. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation.
a. The provided calculations are missing lighting fixtures, F, F2, L, X3.
b. Full-cutoff fixtures under canopies and overhangs are exempt from the total lumen calculations, but must be shown on the calculations and shown as exempt. OLC 401.2.1(3).
c. Show Lighting Fixture 'GA' in the provided 'Lighting Fixture Schedule' on sheet E1. Show lighting fixture as Full-cutoff, per OLC chapter 2 definition, with a Maximum color temperature, 3500K, OLC 402.1. Also show if this light is full-cutoff. The Fixture detail on sheet SE-1 seems to show an unshielded fixture.
4. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4.
a. Reference sheet E3, Plan Notes #12, Receiving/Loading Dock. Plan Note 12 indicates flood lights to be installed, but plans show fixture B2 installed. Fixture B2 doesn't appear to accept the GE #68182, PAR 38 lamps as indicated in Plan Note 12. Flood lights are typically unshielded/non-full-cutoff and must be shown within the lumen calculations. Detail how these lighting fixtures are used and include them in the Lighting Fixture schedule and lumen calculations as necessary.
5. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1.
a. Lighting Fixtures B, B1, B2, B2, F, F2, and L all show color temperatures of 4000K.
6. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the outdoor lighting fixtures. Include the lumen and color temperature values for each outdoor fixture type.
7. Indicate whether or not a special inspection is required per sec. 104.2.2, and 106.2.

8. Specify any exceptions used.

9. Provide Curfew lighting controls If applicable Per section 403.
