The construction documents must indicate the name and registration number of the engineering firm by which the signing engineer is employed. Please update the construction documents to comply with this provision. Refer to the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration (https://btr.az.gov/) for more information. i.Clarification:The statute listed above applies to any firm providing professional services, and therefore would include the Engineer of Record (operating as a solo practitioner) and the specialty engineer designing the pre- fabricated metal building. Per ARS Section 32-101(B)(13), a "Firm" means any individual or partnership, corporation or other type of association... who offers to the public professional services regulated by the Board." Please ensure that both the EOR and the specialty engineer have had their firms registered with the AZ State Board of Technical Registration (https://btr.az.gov/firm-branch-alarm-businesses). 3.[Unresolved] General / Geotechnical Report:Please provide a copy of the site-specific geotechnical report referenced in the structural general notes. The report should support the appropriateness of the selected foundation system for the project site. All submitted geotechnical reports must be dated no later than three years from the submittal date. Outdated reports must be accompanied by a letter from a qualified geotechnical engineer stating that the report requirements are still valid, or stating what items may have changed.
