List the Fire Alarm requirement. e. List the Fire Sprinkler requirement and the response from Tucson Fire Department. f. Minimum required plumbing fixtures. (NOTE: Should the following facilities be available in other location, please locate them on the site plan and provide their distance to this building.) i. Water Closet 1. Provide the calculation for MEN based on the occupant load. 2. Provide the calculation for WOMEN based on the occupant load. ii. Lavatory 1. Provide the calculation for MEN based on the occupant load. 2. Provide the calculation for WOMEN based on the occupant load. iii. Service/Mop sink, please locate/label on the plan. iv. Drinking Fountain, please locate/label on the plan. 3. Panic Hardware: Assembly space a. Swinging doors serving a Group H occupancy & swinging doors serving rooms or spaces with an occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A or E occupancy shall not be provided with a latch or lock other than panic hardware or fire exit hardware. b. The doors shall swing in the direction of egress travel. IBC 1010.1.10 4. Egress Plan a. Please provide and egress plan providing the following. i. Egress route path. ii. Length of travel from the farthest point to the point of exit. iii. At point of exit. 1. Provide the calculated exit width. 2. Provide the provided exit width. 3. Provide the number of occupants exiting. b. Egress shall not pass through kitchens, storage rooms, closets or spaces used for similar purposes. IBC 1016.2 5. Basement a. Indicate the height clearance. b. Locate the water heater. i. Indicate that it is fueled by gas. c. Locate the Electrical Panel. d. Label as storage. i. Current floor plan shows a door opening into a classroom space. b. The above condition is not ideal. The basement should empty directly to the exterior that is open to the sky. 7. This is a commercial project, requiring all documents to be prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by a registered design professional. Provide complete electrical plans, design, and calculations, sealed by an Arizona Registrant.
