2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2018.
3. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drain for the heat pump. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans to show that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted during the hours of occupancy (i.e., the exhaust fans shall operate even if the lights are off). Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
5. Secure the refrigerant circuit access ports of the outside unit of the heat pump to prevent unauthorized access. Reference: Section 1101.10, IMC 2018.
11/04/2025 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Re-plot drawing P-2.0 to include the fixture unit calculations and the plumbing schedule that were cut out of the viewport. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. Clarify the description of the lavatory faucet. The description refers to “touchless faucets” but the model number of the faucet has two lever handles. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10 seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Specify that the tempered water for the lavatories is to be provided by using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018.
4. Provide cleanouts that are the same size as the pipe that they serve. Reference: Section 708.1.5, IPC 2018.
5. Provide sizing calculations and dimensions of the gutters and downspouts. Verify the area being drained by the proposed gutter (i.e., does the roof of the existing building drain onto the new roof). Reference: Sections 1106.1 and 1106.6, IPC 2018.

1. For the approved development package TD-DEV-0424-00126, It is called out that building # 4 is to be office (678 SF) and Storage (1652 SF) for a total of 2,330 SF. The proposed commercial plans show 2515 SF. It is required that the commercial plans match the approved development package plans. If changes are proposed, then a revision to the development package will be required.
2. Is the only roof downspout going to be located at the Northeast corner of existing building #3? If not provide call outs for all building downspouts. If they do not match what is provided for TD-DEV-0424-00126 then a revision to the development package will be required.

1. Comment: The associated Development Package (DP) TD-DEV-0424-00126 lists the square footage of building #4 as 2,330 sq. ft. (678 sq. ft. office & 1,652 sq. ft. storage) however the plans submitted for this permit list building #4 as 2,515 sq. ft. and being used for storage. The building plans, including square footage and height, need to match what was approved in the DP. If changes are proposed, a revision to the DP will be required.
