ADDRESS/PARCEL: (9121 E TANQUE VERDE RD Unit:UNIT 105 TUCSON, AZ 85749)

1. Replacement of commercial AC units constitutes new work so the submittal will require a heating/cooling load calculation for the building to justify the capacities of the units being installed (Sections C403.3.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2018). The units themselves will also have to comply with Sections C403.3.2, C403.4 and C403.5, IECC 2018 for efficiency, controls, and economizers. While ventilation calculations are not required, a test and balance report is required to verify that the total supply airflow and the outside airflow are at least equal to that which the previous AC unit provided. Reference: Section C503.4, IECC 2018.
