11/13/2024 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide shower valves that comply with the requirements of Section 412.3, IPC 2018.
2. Faucets serving lavatories in all buildings other than R3 occupancies, individual units in R2 occupancies, or International Residential Code structures shall be automatic faucets dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per cycle. The cycle time shall not be less than ten-seconds for accessibility. Faucets delivering “no more than ½ gallon of water per minute” are not an option for lavatory faucets. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. If the shower does not have a prefabricated receptor, provide details to show that the construction of the receptor complies with the requirements of Section 421.5, IPC 2018.
4. Verify that the distance from the hot water source (i.e., the recirculating hot water loop) to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
