1. Provide an electrical riser diagram, NEC 230.9. Include underground service entrance conductors/conduit.
a. Show each meter and address/unit associated with each meter.
b. Show bus bar or equipment rating and AIC ratings of the new equipment.
c. Provide sizing and other info as needed to verify code compliance.
2. Notate the grounding and bonding method, including water line bonding, NEC 250.20(B), 250.24, 250.30(A)(1).
3. Provide Service Surge Protection per NEC 230.67(D). All downstream dwelling units require surge protection when replacing the service equipment.
4. Provide the rating of the equipment being replace, per Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-30-302 - Electrical Plans: A registrant shall prepare and submit drawings and specifications for a an addition or modification to an existing electrical system provided the service and associated electrical feeders exceeds 600 amperes 120/240 volts, single phase or 225 amperes 120/208 volts, three phase and the fault current exceeds 10,000 amperes.
5. Provide plans prepared and sealed by a qualified Registrant per Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-30-302.
