Please provide the following means of egress and occupant load information on the plan. 2024 IBC Sections 107.2.3 and 1004.5.
A. Provide a scaled Life Safety/Means of Egress plan. 2024 IBC Section 107.2.3.
B. The area of Room 101 appears to exceed 700 SF. The area calculation should include the space behind the folding partition. Please revise the room area accordingly.
C. Indicate the area, use/function, and occupant load factor for each space. The proposed factor of 15 SF/person indicates tables and chairs. Please verify and provide a furniture plan if this is the proposed arrangement.
D. Based on the revised occupant load, Room 101 may have an occupant load of 50 or more. If so, two exits are required, separated by a minimum of ½ the maximum diagonal distance. 2024 IBC Section 1007.1.1.
E. Doors serving an A occupancy with an occupant load of 50 or more are required to be provided with panic hardware. 2024 IBC Section 1010.2.8.
F. Revise the plans to show exit signs at required exit doors and along the egress path, including locations necessary to direct occupants to the exits. Exit signs are required at changes in direction and where necessary to clearly indicate the direction of egress, with additional spacing requirements as applicable. 2024 IBC Section 1013.1.
