SHEET T-001 KEY MAP: Show the location of the public restroom and drinking fountain on this key map. Provide the distance between the restroom and this mercantile space. IBC 2902.5 and IBC 2902.3.4 2. SHEET T-001 PROJECT DATA: Construction Classification – Please confirm whether a IIA or IIB. 3. SHEET LS-100 LIFE SAFETY PLAN, EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACE: Egress through intervening spaces. IBC 1016.2 Exception 2 Means of egress are not prohibited through stockrooms in Group M occupancies where all of the following are met. 2.1 The stock is of the same hazard classification as that found in the main retail area. 2.2 Not more than 50 percent of the exit access is through the stockroom. 2.3 The stockroom is not subject to locking from the egress side. 2.4 There is a demarcated, minimum 44-inch-wide aisle defined by full- or partial-height fixed walls or similar construction that will maintain the required width and lead directly from the retail area to the exit without obstructions. Please clearly show the storage racks/shelves & the demarcated aisle with dimension & marking on the floor such as paint stripes, etc 4. SHEET A-100 TOILET ROOM: The turning space shall be a circular space with a 67-inch minimum diameter. ICC A117.1 sec 304.3.1.1 Please make the necessary correction. 5. SHEET A-500 CASHWRAP: The tops of work surfaces shall be 28 inches min & 34 inches max above the floor per ICC A117.1 sec 902.4. Sec 306.3.3 Knee clearance shall be 11 inches min in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches min in depth at 27 inches above the floor. Sec 306.2.4 Additional toe clearance space extending greater than 6 inches beyond the available knee clearance at 9 inches above the floor. Sec 306.3 Knee clearance shall be 30 inches min in width. 904.3.2 Parallel approach, the counter surface 36 inches min length. 904.3.3 Forward approach, the counter surface 30 inches min length. Please comply to all of the above requirements. Please make the necessary correction. 6. SHEET A-501 SHELVINGS: SUBMIT SHELVING SHOP DRAWINGS. THESE RACKS ARE CONSIDERED HIGH PILE STORAGE, PLEASE PROVIDE DETAIL DRAWING AS TO HOW THEY ARE ANCHORED TO THE FLOOR. SPECIAL INSPECTION SHALL BE REQUIRED. Please provide a special inspection certificate with Part A, and Part B completed with next submittal.
