10/10/2025 Commercial Building REQUIRES RESUBMIT Please submit your revised documents and provide a letter with a written response letter addressing each of the comments indicating how the Review comments were resolved. Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please note the submittal was incomplete and the plan review was conducted using the information presented. The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed.
1. Please provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 for example, creating a new suite, demolition of existing walls and dropped ceiling, construction of new walls and dropped ceiling. Creating new breakroom, IDF room and office spaces, etc.
2. This appears to be a new tenant space, please obtain a new address for this space. IBC 107.2.1
3. Please amend plans to provide an existing floor plan with suite numbers and boundaries of the existing suites. Additionally provide a demolition floor plan. IBC 107.2.1
4. Please show clear floor space and either a forward or a parallel approach for the breakroom sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator. 2009 ICC A117.1 305 & Chapter 8 special rooms and Spaces.
5. Please amend plans and the door schedule add smoke dampers as necessary to ensure and show on the plans; the IDF room, as an Incidental Use shall be separated from the remainder of the building by construction capable of resisting the passage of smoke. Doors shall be self- or automatic closing upon detection of smoke in accordance with Section 716.2.6.6. Doors shall not have air transfer openings and shall not be undercut in excess of the clearance permitted in accordance with NFPA 80. Walls surrounding the incidental use shall not have air transfer openings unless provided with smoke dampers in accordance with Section 710.8.

Additionally, please provide the manufacturer’s cut sheet for the ejector pump. IPC 712.3.5 & IBC 107.2.1
