The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed. 1. Please provide the following information for the Use and Occupancy Classification. A. Please amend plans for buildings with more than one occupancy classification identify the mixed occupancy methodology as either accessory, nonseparated, separated, or a stated combination of types. IBC 508.1 2. Please provide the following information for the methodology(s) used in determining the allowable area for the mixed occupancies. A. Nonseparated occupancies allowable building area, building height, and number of stories is the most restrictive of any of the nonseparated occupancies. IBC 508.3.2 B. The separated occupancy’s equation of summed ratios for each story is shown with the values used and each story does not exceed 1. IBC 508.4.2 C. The separated occupancy’s individual story’s summed ratios are shown added together and together do not exceed 3. IBC 506.2.4 3. Please provide the following information for fire-resistance and smoke separation protective systems(s). A. The fire-resistance rating of all walls and elements is shown on each floor’s plan view. IBC 602.1 B. An indication of where to find the construction information for the fire-rated assemblies, openings and penetrations. IBC 703.3 For provide construction details with basis of approval by one of the following: i. Listing number approved by third-party testing agency (i.e., UL, GA) ii. Item number for prescriptive fire-resistive assembly under IBC Table 721.1(2) iii. Prescriptive assembly constructed under IBC 722.6. Note. If necessary, please change the number of occupants being served by each egress door and stairway is shown if clear opening of door is reduced. IBC 107.2.3 5. Please amend structural calculations to update the project name, as to not indicate a residence, but reference this project. IBC 107.2.1 6. Please provide glass fence and connection design, calculations and construction drawings and details, sealed by an Arizona licensed registrant with next submittal. Provide an outdoor site lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan. 2. List the Lighting Area per OLC (Typically E3) chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 3. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. 4. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. 5. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. 6.
