Sheet A0.1: Please amend and update the Design Criteria/Live Load to reflect the deck and a live load to be 1.5 times the live load for the area served, not required to exceed 100. IBC Table 1607.1 For example, if the apartment live load is 40 psf the deck should be designed to 60 psf. 3. Sheet S2.0/Detail 2: Please provide the following. IBC 107.2.1 A. Please verify the anchor bolt type to be used in the connection of the post to the column footing. The drawing seems to depict a PAB; however, a A325 bolt is specified. IBC 107.2.1 B. Please clarify the number of #5 rebar to be run each way in the column footing. The annotation is (4) #5 REBAR EACH DIRECTION, and the drawing appears to indicate 3 rebar. IBC 107.2.1 C. Specify the embed depth of the #4 Dowels used to connect the existing slab to the new slab. IBC 107.2.1 4. Sheet S2.0/Detail 3: Please specify the fasteners used to connect the CC66HDC CAP to the beam and the post. IBC 107.2.1 5. Sheet S2.0/Detail 4: Please specify the fasteners used to connect the deck ledger to the existing structure. IBC 107.2.1 6. Please provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope on the plans. IBC 105.3 For example, the project includes full demolition and reconstruction of four (4) damaged wood balconies, each approximately 268 square feet, including associated stucco repair and repainting at Building J. 7. Please provide the ES report, manufacturer’s specifications for the liquid applied waterproof membrane and the granite stone coating used at the deck. Further used under the granite stone coating and over the tongue and groove sheathing, IBC 107.2.1 Please list a special inspection for the liquid-rubber water-proofing membrane and include manufacturer’s installation instructions.
