Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. COMMENTS: 1. DEMOLITION PLAN a. Show all equipment that are to remain. i. Label/identify them as (E) existing to remain. b. The prep table and sink are shown in the demolition plan as being removed. i. However, there are no drawings illustrating what is taking its place. ii. Are the Sundae Prep area equipment all new. 1. If so, please provide drawings and indentify what they are on the drawings. c. MIDDLE TABLE, FRY DUMP, AND HEAT LAMP AND DISPOSER shown on the demolition plan. i. What is replacing it. ii. Please identify what is being installed. iii. Provide plumbing, mechanical and electrical drawings. 1. Please include electrical for lighted display cases, recessed receptacles and anything that is new. 2. Customer Order, Service, & Drinking Condiments areas. a. Provide drawings illustrating accessible work surface heights and required widths. b. The tops of dining surfaces & work surfaces shall be 28 inches min & 34 inches max above the floor per ICC A117.1 sec 902.4. i. Sec 306.3.3 Knee clearance shall be 11 inches min in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches min in depth at 27 inches above the floor. ii. Sec 306.2.4 Additional toe clearance space extending greater than 6 inches beyond the available knee clearance at 9 inches above the floor. iii. Sec 306.3 Knee clearance shall be 30 inches min in width. iv. 904.3.2 Parallel approach, the counter surface 36 inches min length. v. 904.3.3 Forward approach, the counter surface 30 inches min length. 3. Designate tables, bench seats that are handicap accessible. a. Provide drawings illustrating this. This can be incorporated within the floor plan. i. Dining & drinking areas, all interior & exterior floor areas shall be accessible & on accessible route per IBC 1109.2.9. ii. Where dining surfaces for the consumption of food or drink are provided, at least 5 percent, but not less than one, of the dining surfaces for the seating and standing spaces shall be accessible and be distributed throughout the facility per IBC 1109.2.9.1. 4. KEYED NOTES sheet A201 a. LED lights are part of the building permit. i. Provide Outdoor Lighting Calculation to include all external lumens including this LED lights. ii. Submit electrical drawings depicting any electrical work including this LED light. b. Provide awning drawings as part of this building permit. i. If not, a separate permit shall be required just for the awnings. ii. If separate, enter a note on the cover sheet with the following note: "Awnings are by another contractor and they will apply for a separate building permit." 5. Please resubmit. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 4. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. 5. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. 6. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. 7.
