[Initial comment: Verify the size of the water service to the building and the backflow preventer. The development plan shows a 2” water service and a 2” backflow preventer while the site plan and plumbing plan show a 1” water service and a 1” backflow preventer. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.] 2. The revised development plan and the revised plumbing plan now show a backwater valve in the building sewer. The rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole (2858.5) is 12” or more than below the first-floor elevation (2860.60). A backwater valve shall not be installed per Section 714.1, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson. |
