Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Submitted Plans were incomplete and additional comments could arise on the next review. 1. Please amend plans to provide a list that includes all the drawing sheets in this permit’s scope. IBC 107.2.1 For example- (Sheet Index) 2. Please amend the Code Information to include 2009 ICC A117.1 Accessibility Code (by reference) and the 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code. IBC 107.2.1 3. Please amend plans to provide construction drawings and details showing how the door jambs will be finished after the new storefront door is installed. IBC 107.2.1 4. Please amend plans to show the doors serving a space with ≥ 50 persons swing in the direction of egress travel. IBC 1010.1.2.1 Additionally, Doors serving a space with ≥ 50 persons in A or E occupancies have panic hardware. IBC 1010.1.10 5. Please amend plans to include dimensions showing compliance with IBC 1005.7 Please show when doors are fully open, the path of egress is not reduced more than allowed in IBC 1005.7.1 6. Please amend plans to provide the following information for the ramp and landing: A. Provide a section, detail or otherwise indicate the elevation changes from grade to top of landing. IBC 107.2.1 a. Code compliant Handrails with extensions at the bottom are required on one side when landing and ramp are less than 6” above grade and are required on both sides when the landing and ramp is greater than 6” above the adjacent grade. IBC 1012.8 B. The slope of the landing to facilitate drainage away from the building not to exceed 2%. IBC 1012.6.1 7. Please amend plans to provide detail of the threshold in compliance with IBC 1010.1.7 8. Please amend plans to specify that a readily visible durable sign be posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch high on a contrasting background. 1010.1.9.4 9. Please amend the plans to show the exit sign and wiring method (specify conductor size and type) and circuit used. IBC 1013 Additionally, show the same information for the exterior light. 10. Please provide a cut sheet for the exterior light, showing that it is fully shielded. This site is located in the C-1 zone (UDC 4.7.20). A Religious Use is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-). See Use-Specific Standard 4.9.13.O. 1. If the ‘OPTIONAL CUSTOM RAILING” is installed it shall meet the requirements of ICC A117.1-2009 Section 505.10.1.
