10/31/2023 Commercial Electrical REQUIRES RESUBMIT PLEASE ADDRESS THE ELECTRICAL PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS AND PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE.

Previous plan review comment #3 not addressed. Previous comment; “3. Show wiring methods utilized for the merging of the 2 meters.”

1. REF; Plan Sheet ‘A-1’. The photograph of the ‘Gutter wiring box’, the ‘Wording’, and or the ‘Description Of The Work’, submitted this 2nd submittal does not address the plan review comment. Also, not all the notes are visible in the “DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK”. 2018 IBC section 107.2.1 states, ”Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate
the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and
show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this
code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as
determined by the building official” .

2. In the ‘Description of Work’ note#6 states, “POWER ESTIMATE SUGGESTS 200 AMPS. SO THE METER BOX SHOULD BE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE IT IS SET UP FOR 200 AMPS. Note #5 states,” PANEL B WILL BE EMPTY BUT WILL BE LEFT IN PLACE”. Panel ‘B’ is shown as a 100 amp panel and Panel ‘C’ is shown as a 100 amp panel.... Both panels are rated at 100 amps, panel ‘B’ will be empty (Note #5). How are you going to end up serving a 200 amp load with panel ‘C’ rated at 100 amps? Are you going to incorporate panel ‘B’? None of this makes clear sense as stated, “MERGE B METER INTO C METER”,

3. Provide a complete wiring diagram showing all the Meters and Panels ‘B’ and ‘C’ showing the wiring configurations after the merge. Include all conduit, conductor sizes and types, breaker panels, disconnects, amps and AIC ratings for all electrical equipment, complete panel schedules, and include accurate load calculations.

4. Why is the ‘TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS OWNER REVIEW OF THE WORK’ block at the bottom of the plan not signed and dated?

Provide electrical design and calculations performed by an Arizona registrant who has demonstrated proficiency through registration, education, technical knowledge, or experience to perform such work.
