1. GENERAL - UPDATES: For project updates, please submit sheets with all changes clearly marked in revision clouds. 2. GENERAL - DEFERRED SUBMITTALS: You have requested a deferred submittal for the prefabricated stairs, exterior wall systems, guardrails, handrails, precast structural elements and structural steel connections. Please be advised that we will place an Administrative Hold on the Certificate of Occupancy pending the submittal of the deferred structural drawings as a REVISION. All Revision fees will apply.

3. S0.2 - SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: Note 1 on the Special Inspections schedule reads, "Special inspection of structural items is not required per code section 1704.6.1 unless the Building Official so required." The 2018 IBC Section 1704.6.1 refers specifically to Structural Observations, which are not required for this project. However, Special Inspections per Section 1704 do apply, and will be required. Please remove this note from the schedule and resubmit.

4. S1.2 - CONFLICTING INFORMATION: Detail 1/S1.2 calls for a minimum of 16" of bearing for concrete beams bearing on masonry walls. This conflicts with the Lintel Schedule, Note 2 on the same page, which requires only 8" of bearing. Please confirm which number controls and resubmit the sheet.

5. S1.3 - CONFLICTING INFORMATION: Detail 9/S1.3 calls for puddle welds at 12"oc at the composite floor decking, which conflicts with the structural general notes, Composite Steel Deck, Note B. Please confirm which note controls
and resubmit.

6. S1.4 - CONFLICTING INFORMATION: Detail 10/S1.4 calls for a continuous L4x4 at the top of the structural steel parapet. This conflicts with the Roof Framing Plan, Note 12 which calls for a continuous HSS4x4x3/16 top-of-parapet beam. Please confirm which note controls and resubmit.

7. S4.0 - CONFLICTING INFORMATION: The Brace Connection Schedule calls out the minimum gusset plate thickness for typical braced frame connections. This schedule conflicts with the structural general notes, Structural Steel, Note O which dictates that gusset plates shall be 3/8" thick minimum. Please confirm which note controls and resubmit. Note: See also Detail A/S4.1, which also provides conflicting information on gusset plate thickness.

8. S4.0 - MISSING INFORMATION: Detail 2/S4.0 shows typical base plate BP-1. This detail is missing information about the post-installed anchors. Please confirm that this detail is referring to Detail 1/S4.0 or provide additional information on anchor size and embedment. 2. General: Elaborate on the method of protection for the primary structural frame. Provide a structural protection plan that explicitly identifies the structural members being safeguarded and the protective measures employed, adhering to the requirements of Type I-A construction and 2018 IBC Section 704.
