This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. 1. This is a commercial project, requiring all documents to be prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by a registered design professional. Provide complete electrical plans, design, and calculations, sealed by an Arizona Registrant. Reference: Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304, 2018 IBC section 107.1, 2017 NEC, City of Tucson Commercial Plan Submittal Requirements. 2. Clarify if this is a service upgrade to an existing meter and panel, or if it is a new service. The load calculations show one existing subpanel and one new subpanel while page one states this is separate from the existing serve drop and meter clusters. 3. Provide a Site Plan, Indicate the location and size of buildings, utility meters and lines supporting the alterations, 2018 IBC 107.1. Show the utility lines requiring upgrade or replacement. Show the location of all new work. 4. Provide a complete line diagram, NEC 110.2, 2018 IBC 107.1. 5. Show the location of the panel on the Electrical Plan with clear working space compliance, 2017 NEC 110.26(A) 6. Revise the electrical load calculations, for the Total Service Load Summary, following NEC 220.40 by including both sub-panels in the calculations. 7. Demonstrate compliance with NEC 230.2 (Number of Services). Must have written consent from the Building Official through appeal. |
