1. Recirculation of air from nail salon spaces is prohibited. If the air is recirculated throughout the tenant space (to the waiting/reception areas, corridor, etc), please classify the entire space as a nail salon and revise the outdoor air and exhaust calculations accordingly. Reference: Section 403.3.1.1 and Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2024.
2. Please provide details of the manicure/pedicure stations showing the exhaust inlet locations. Exhaust inlets shall be located no more than 12 inches horizontally and vertically from the point of chemical application. Reference: Section 502.20 and Table 403.3.1.1, Note h, IMC 2024.
