| 09/19/2024 | Commercial Electrical | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response. Ref; Electrical Line Diagram. 1. The new panel ‘L1’ shall be protected by an overcurrent protective device having a rating not greater than the panel. NEC art 408.36. The line diagram shows an existing 200 amp Main Service Disconnect with a 200 amp rated feeder suppling existing panel ‘A’ (assuming panel ‘A’ is also rated at 200 amps). 2. For clarity, please indicate fuse ratings in the Main Service Disconnect. 3. The panel schedule for the new panel L1 shows the ‘UPSTREAM OVERCURRENT DEVICE SIZE 60’. Assuming that means 60 amps, how is this possible utilizing a single MAIN SERVICE DISCONNECT that is double lugged for both panels ‘A’ and ‘L1’ with a total calculated load of 118 amps? 4. Provide for a grounding electrode system at the new ACCESSORY STORAGE BUILDING installed as required per NEC art 250.32. If available a ‘Concrete Encased Grounding Electrode shall be utilized per NEC art 250.50. REF; 2018 IBC section 107.2.1, 2017 NEC, 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code. |
